Robots in action: Say hello to a humanoid or move your own robot!
Shake hands with a humanoid robot, explore robotic models, or even program a robot yourself! Experience all this on Saturday, February 22, at the VIDA! Robots event in Brno's VIDA Science Center, where artificial beings and machines from Brno University of Technology will also be present.

The event, perfect for both young and adult robot enthusiasts, starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 6:00 PM, offering visitors fun and fascinating insights. The exciting robotics program is co-organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) at Brno University of Technology.
Do you want to become a robotics master and create your own tech-world companion? Then don’t miss the Move the Robot workshop, where you will teach a six-legged robot amazing new tricks through programming. The workshop, led by FEEC experts, will take place at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM in Discovery Room 2.
If robots fascinate you but you’re not interested in programming your own mechanical being, come meet the humanoid robot InMoov. You can blink at each other, shake hands, laugh together, or mimic each other’s movements.

At the Mechatronics Laboratory station, run by FME, visitors can assemble a robot using Lego Mindstorms or discover robotic models, such as a robotic spider or a rotary inverted pendulum, created by students and staff of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
For more fun, try your skills in robo-hockey, where players compete against a robot in air hockey, or experience the thrill of racing in the student formula simulator. For the youngest robot fans, a themed memory game will be available.
