Thanks to the excellent atmosphere created at the booth, the university's exhibition earned an impressive 2nd place in the visitors' evaluation. "The visitors appreciated the attractiveness of the booth, the availability of essential information, and the approach and presentation by VUT students, who took care of the visitors over three days," said Helena Sadílková, the event coordinator for BUT.
The exposition of BUT received visitors' appreciation. | Autor: Václav Koníček High school students could learn everything they were curious about from their future peers and explore the offerings of technical, scientific, economic, and artistic fields.
At the BUT booth, electrical engineering, computer science, and architecture were traditionally the biggest draws. "Compared to previous years, we saw a significantly higher interest in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Surprisingly, there were also many questions about the Institute of Forensic Engineering, which offers postgraduate master's studies," said Sadílková, adding that, unlike fairs in other cities, there were many foreign visitors.
In addition to information, high school students found examples of student projects from various faculties and departments in the BUT exhibition. They could see, for example, the air-compressed vehicle Pneuracer, a 3D model of a polar station, and the Brno Avion Hotel. There was also a 3D printing demonstration, and a popcorn-making experience was a fun highlight.
There was also an accompanying programme for high school students. | Autor: Václav Koníček Gaudeamus fairs are among the most well-known educational events, aiming to create a space for representatives of educational institutions and their potential students to meet.
