Plastics from used oil

Materials Research Center at the Faculty of Chemistry has presented a new scientific discovery – method to effectively deal with used oil. This material is usually not usable anymore and due to its storage it only pollutes the environment. Scientists have developed a method to make a plastics from biopolymers derived from used frying oil. These plastics are environmentally friendly – they can spontaneously disintegrate in nature within few months.
