BUT opens a call for projects with commercial potential

Do you have an idea and want to validate it both technically and commercially? The internal call for proposals, organized as part of the Proof of Concept Support Acceleration project at Brno University of Technology (BUT), which is co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, is just for you. You can submit your partial project proposal within the call. The selection will be made by the BUT Industrial Council, composed of experts from across the commercial sector.

If you are interested in this opportunity to bring your know-how closer to commercial application, do not hesitate to register for the workshop where the first call will be presented in more detail. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 23 at 2:00 PM at the BUT Rectorate. Register here (Workshop and registration are in Czech language).

As part of the workshop, the professional software PatSnap will be introduced. BUT has recently acquired a license for this tool, which uses AI and other advanced features to simplify research and enhance the relevance of results, such as evaluating the commercial potential of innovations.

Another opportunity to learn more about the upcoming call will be an online information seminar, which will be held via MS Teams on Thursday, November 7 at 2:00 PM. Register here(Seminar and registration are in Czech language).
