FBM organized Euroweek 2019 and International Scientific Conference
The Faculty of Business and Management of Brno University of Technology organized two big international events that took place between 30th April and 4th May. Jubilee 25th International Student Competition - EUROWEEK 2019 and 17th International Scientific Conference on Business and Entrepreneurship Development: Digital Transformation of Corporate Business. Both events were connected by a very interesting and actual theme digitization, intercultural and interdisciplinary spirit and the interconnection of students, academics, and experts from companies.
Both events were attended by more than 250 participants, including 100 students. Since the beginning of the year, students have worked together, exchanged ideas and solved projects in six-member international teams (always from three countries) to meet and present their project results on a very topical subject: Smart Business in the Digital Age. It is part of the fulfillment of the ideals and spirit of the international PRIME Networking non-profit association by bringing together professionals and students from different cultures. There were 13 international teams from 15 countries around the world. This year's Euroweek 2019 was also successful for the faculty in terms of the significant success of our students in the international team competition. We managed to win a total of 2 awards: Best Pitch and Poster Award and Best Project Presentation Award for the “Waste Elimination through the Digital Twin ”. We would like to express a big congratulations to students Ondřej Šesták and Martin Očko for their great performance. Want to know more? Check out www.euroweek.cz.
