Today, the 12th Czech satellite, on which scientists from BUT also collaborated, will enter orbit

At exactly 3:56 pm today, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Czech nanosatellite BDSAT-2 into space. The satellite is 10 x 10 x 10 centimetres and carries technologies that will be tested in space: special pressure sensors or an alternative solar power system called a supercapacitor bank. Specialists from BD SENSORS, Spacemanic and scientists from BUT and CEITEC worked on BDSAT.

You can find out more about the satellite itself here.

You can watch the rocket launch live on YouTube or on Facebook.
