Week for Digital Czechia: CEITEC BUT invites you to conference and factory of future
The 3rd edition of the largest educational event in the field of digitalization is approaching and CEITEC BUT will be involved in it on 19 November with two events. From 9:00 a.m. the conference "The labour market in the digital age" will welcome visitors, featuring presentations by journalist Petr Koubský, BUT Chancellor Kamil Gregorek and José Kadlec, author of the book HR Robo Sapiens. In the afternoon, visitors can take a tour through the factory of the future - an AI-enabled testing facility that opened at CEITEC BUT at the end of 2022.The conference is intended not only for students, but also for start-ups and the expert public. It focuses on the current challenges and opportunities brought by digitalization and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on the transformation of the labour market. Expert speakers will present a wide range of topics - from current trends in the labour market, to changes in recruitment and work processes, to the skills that will be needed in the future. The conference will offer inspiration and concrete advice on how to navigate, succeed and prepare for the coming changes in a dynamic work environment. Should we be afraid of digital transformation? Or can we use it to our advantage?
The conference includes a panel discussion with the opportunity for participants to participate in the debate.

What can an industrial hall hide? Would you guess the factory of the future? And did you know that you have the chance to come and see it during the Week for Digital Czechia? The so-called Testbed is a testbed that was opened at CEITEC BUT at the end of 2022. It focuses on research in the areas of Industry 4.0, including the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in production. And maybe the local robots will show you their legendary dance.
Registration (in Czech) is required for the tour.
Tours will take place at 16:00 and 17:00.
Tour capacity is limited.
