Original Abstract

V posledních 25 letech prošla architektura zásadními změnami jak z hlediska teorie, tak praxe. Architekti jsou stále více vytěsňování nejrůznějšími manažery a developery. Důvodem může být nedostatek důvěry, kterou většina klientů chová k profesi architekta, neboť nepovažují architekty za adekvátně kvalifikované. Školy architektury mají na této situaci svůj podíl, neboť se přiměřeně neadaptovaly na nvé podmínky.

English abstract

Over the 25 years architecture has undergone fundamental changes in the theoretical backgroung as well as in the practice. Architects are more and more often replaced by various managers and developers. The cause might be a lack of confidence that the majority of clients seem to have for the architect´s ´profession, as they do not consider architects to be adequately qualified. Schools of architecture have their share on this situation as they have not adequately adapted to the new conditions.
