Angličtina pro rizikové inženýrství

The subject is aimed at the terminology and situations the graduates will have to face at work. They will learn specific terminology, they will get knowledge and skills necessary for communicating in businesses and companies in relation to managing the company, the production process, product introduction, sales, marketing and staff recruiting. They will be able to describe trends in production and sales. They will get skills necessary for negotiating in business, managing business meetings, making appointments and will learn the methods of the company and product presentation. The professional language will focus on knowledge and skills related to risks, work safety issues and the risk precautions.

Aims

The aim of the course is to develop the students´ language skills for situations in managing a company and production, in the company and product presentation, applying for a job and staff recruiting, taking part in meetings, chairing meetings, the skills necessary for negotiating and dealing with colleagues, employees, business partners and institutions.

The content and forms of instruction in the evaluated course are specified by a regulation issued by the lecturer responsible for the course and updated for every academic year.
