Water Structures

FAST-HR51Acad. year: 2022/2023

The course deals with the basics of hydrology, hydraulics hydrostatics, hydrodynamics), basic information about realisation and operation of water structures, terminology used.
Water structures - river training, weirs, dams, hydro power energy, navigation.
Municipal water management - groundwater caption, water treatment
and transport for the municipal and industry water supply, disposal and treatment of sewage water, balneology, management of water systems.
Innovation 2012/13 the results of the ESF project in the field of geodesy and cyrtografy. Creating a relationship to the environment, POV and PPO close to nature and friendly.
A cluster problems, for instance Cluster CREA Hydro & Energy, Z.S., bearer of the golden mark.
Landscape water management - land and construction site drainage, irrigation and irrigation systems, small reservoirs, field comasation, water systems and reservoirs.

Part of the course is an excursion to chosen water structure (geodetic measurements and the VD Kníničky et TBD).
