About the JoVE database

JoVE is the world's leading producer of scientific videos that enhance the productivity, efficiency and reproducibility of research and education in the sciences, medicine and technology, and more recently in fields such as social psychology and statistics. The collection currently contains more than 14,000 videos in a variety of disciplines. Among the first subscribers to JoVE were Harvard and MIT universities, and since 2008 it has been indexed in Pubmed. Scientists from the Czech Republic also publish in the journal. JoVE content is freely available down to the abstract level, videos are subtitled in several languages, and protocols are included.
