Trial accesses to scientific databases

The BUT Central Library has arranged trial accesses for students and staff at the beginning of the semester, which will be active until 14 November 2022.

AIAA

All journals and conference proceedings (Journals and Meeting Papers) are available. WARNING: Books, standards and other types of documents are not eligible for trial access! Access is based on IP address recognition. The user must be on the BUT computer network directly or via VPN while working with the database.

SPIE

• https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/ebooks

All books are accessible. Remote access to the database can be used using the link at https://www.vut.cz/en/uk/eir/databases/spie-digital-library. After entering the database, the user selects the "EBOOKS" tab. Only individual chapters are available for download.

Taylor & Francis

• www.taylorfrancis.com

Access is to the complete content of the publisher's book platform. Remote access to the database can be used by using the link at https://www.vut.cz/en/uk/eir/databases/taylor-francis-e-books. WARNING: Books made available as part of the trial can only be read (via the "Read online" button). Downloading books is not possible in the trial mode.
