Original Abstract

In our work different types of mono-crystalline solar cell structures based on mentioned technologies are presented. For passivation coatings on both front and rear sides we use reactively sputtered layers of different compositions (SiNX, AlN, SiO2 and SiC.) Sputtering technology gives the possibility to replace high-temperature processes which results in decrease of surface and bulk defect density. Consequently this can lead to higher solar cell efficiency. Completed solar cells were tested using LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current) method and V-I characteristics under illumination. Substitute scheme of the cell was measured using dynamic testing method. Surface and bulk recombination was measured by means of microwave photoconductivity decay (MW-PCD).
