Learning outcomes of the course unit

A student gains these knowledge and skills:
• Individually solve selected problems from the field of engineering and bridge structures relating to diploma thesis.
• The ability of orientation in the specialised literature and in the valid standards and recommendations that are necessary for the future activity of a civil engineer.

Knowledge of the problems from theoretic and specialised courses relating to a subject of diploma project.

9. Recapitulation of the background results obtained from the solution of diploma project. Formulation of the next plan and continuation in the solution of diploma project. Consultations of diploma project with a leading lecturer.
10. Following-up the solution of diploma project and processing required diploma documentation. Consultations of diploma project with a leading lecturer.
11. Finishing diploma project. Completing documentation processed within diploma project. Preparing materials for committing and defending diploma project.

Aims

The objective is to support the students in finishing and completing diploma project within the last three weeks of study. A student is directed to work individually using own suggestions. Emphasis is given to a student’s ability of orientation in the specialised literature and in the valid standards and recommendations that are necessary for the future activity of a civil engineer.
