Course detail

Industrial control systems

FEKT-MPC-PMSAcad. year: 2022/2023

The course contents is a set of laboratory excercises that familiarize students with programmable automats and their use especially in the field of electric controlled drives. The student is gradually acquainted with the most basic settings of the programmable controller, the basic logic functions are repeated, the setting and commissioning of elelectrical drive are described and finally these are combined together. Teaching takes place in the form of laboratory exercises and all theoretical interpretation is immediately demonstrated in practice.

Učební cíle

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the possibilities of industrial control systems, especially in the field of electric controlled drives. Students should have tried to configure and program these systems on a several practical examples and then gain practical experience. Emphasis is placed on students' independent work and the ability to orient themselves in the manufacturers documentation.
