Basic knowledge of general, inorganic and organic chemistry for consequent training in material science and other scientific disciplines.

Course curriculum

Nuclear chemistry, basic characteristic radionuclide and ionising radiation, radioactivity, ionising radiation. Chemistry fires and explosions. Kinetics homogenous and heterogeneous actions at burning and explosion. Burning and blasts in fluent mixtures, in liquids, unyielding materials and dusty mixture. Explosibility, explosion and detonation. Chemistry fire extinguishing, principles fire extinguishing, bases extinguishing materials. Chemistry dangerous materials, physiochemical characteristics of the main groups
