Comparative Seminar - supplement to Theory of Art for MA Students

FaVU-2KOS-LAcad. year: 2009/2010

In the seminars, students are drawn into a dialogue between two sciences on which two different theories are based - normative vs. contextual. The course is designed to clarify the basic terms with which the sciences operate. Illustrative excursions to the field of fine art depend on the interest of the participants. Active participation is enabled by regular preparation - reading of prepared texts. Condition of course completion is a paper based on recommended literature
