Multimedia Presentation

Multimedia presentation and multimedia application, introduction and practical work with the programme Macromedia Flash. Animation, elements of user interface of multimedia applications, introduction to the programming of interactive behaviour of multimedia presentations. Presentation of multimedia applications by way of CD-ROM, the Internet and other technologies.

Creationg of multimedia presentations in Flash for web and on data carriers.

Completed basic course in working with PC.

Conditions for course completion:
- orientation in Flash programme, ability to realize standard activities
- one´s own Flash presentation

Course curriculum

Topics:
- introduction - what is multimedia application
- Flash - description
- timetine, basics of animation, motion tweening, shape tweening
- interactivity, buttons, definition of button activities by means of programming language ActionScript
- programming language ActionScript in detail
- work with sound
- presentation of Flash animation, projector, Internet presentation, data formats
- cooperation of Flash movies with Internet technologies
- overview of competetive programmes for multimedia presentations:
MS PowerPoint, Scala, Macromedia Director, Adobe LiveMotion

Aims

To familiarize students with creating multimedia presentations in the area of information technologies. Practical aspects of explained issues are emphasized. Currently, the technology of Macromedia Flash - which is both universal and easy tool - is supported.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Lectures are optional, seminary is mandatory.
