Personal Quality Management

The course in “Personal Quality Management“ elucidates the necessity of setting good communicative human relations among workers, managers and teams during the preparation, building, maintenance and innovation of the firm quality system. It is based on the ISO standard 9000 requirements for the personnel.

Knowledge useful for identifying process, personal marketing, personal presentations and communication. Writing bibliography.

Prerequisites

General knowledge of psychology. The knowledge of quality management. Knowledge of management of processes

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Alternative assignment may be given to students if conditions are not met (in justified cases). Evaluation of the exam: excellent (90-100 points), very good (80-89 points), good (70-79 points), satisfactory (60-69 points), sufficient (50-59 points), failed (0-49 points). The exam has an oral and a written part.

Aims

Methods of quality management of human factors and evaluation of workers capability. Personal strategy of quality control in small and middle companies.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The attendance at seminars is compulsory. An alternative assignment may be given to students if the condition is not met (in justified cases). Submitting an individual assignment on the topic defined at the beginning of the semester.
