Parametric Modeling - Pro/Engineer

FSI-ZM2Acad. year: 2009/2010

This course is back to back with theoretical basics of CAD systems reached in CAD I course. The students will be familiarized with an important terms of computer graphics and visualisations in the lecture part of course and with CAD systems of higher category in the practical part of course. Practically they will validate their skills of making solid and surface designs.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be made familiar with computer graphics. Students will practicly learn the method of high CAD systems and usage tools of solid and surface modelling.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about Computer aided design.

Credit: active attendance in practices, prove ability independent work in system CAD.
Examination: theoretic knowledge about CAD systems. Examination consists of written part and viva.

Explain fundamental terms of computer graphic. Take up with CAD systems of higher classes.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
