Organization of Production Preparation

Definition of status and role of operation management, including service and supporting activities, standardization of work preparation. Framing of normative management base as starting point of work preparation management. Ensuring of serviceability. New technologies and work techniques in organization of work preparation – Lean Production, fractal company. Managing of continuous change. World class production. Push and pull principle. Implication of work preparation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Practical skills and knowledge for management of set-up periods of manufacturing process in small and middle size manufacturing enterprises.
Basic knowledge for magisterial studie sof „Management and economics of enterprise“.

Prerequisites

Subjekt concures to knowledge from subject Mathematics I and II, Economics of enterprise, Opening to material science and engineering, Informatics and database systems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Lectures will be proceeded with using of didactical technique by using Power Pointe.
Excersises will be proceeded as calculational and laboratory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Inspection of continuous studies and preparation to graduation of excersise during session for getting inclusion at the end of session by performing written test.
Examination will be combined: written – 2 teoretical inquiries and 1 calculation example

Obtaining of knowledge for management of set-up periods of manufacturing process as element of engineering.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Presence at excerises is obligatory. Excused absence will be compensated at trial period.
