Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be made familiar with basic terminology relating to industrial property rights and modern communication technologies. Students will be cognizant of the legal rules and regulations with respect to protection of personal data and also will learn about e-commerce.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have general knowledge of law at secondary school level.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Only a course-unit credit is awarded for this course.
A course-unit credit is awarded after student will have passed a simple test. It is a multiple-choice test with 25 questions. The classification is in accordance with the rules of the Faculty of Business and Management.

The main objective of the course is to familiarise students with industrial property rights and with e-commerce.
