Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student will learn the problems of the course and will get under controll the course aims, within the meaning of obtaining knowledge and skills in the field of special topics of design and realization of metal, steel-concrete and timber structures, concretized in the course schedule.

Prerequisites

Rules for design of metal structures, static action of bearing systems.

Course curriculum

1. Standards – ČSN, EC, other foreign standards.
2. Composite steel- concrete girders – design of through girders.
3. Composite slabs of sheetmetal and concrete – using, structure principles, static analysis.
4. Composite pillars of steel and concrete, loaded by combinations of stress.
5. Composite structures of steel and concrete loaded by stress of fire activity.
6. Fire resistivity of buildings.
7. Kinds and sorting of steel masts.
8. Loads, dynamic component of wind load.
9. Satic and dynamic analysis of masts.
10. Fatigue strength check of masts.
11. Software for desig and analysis of steel structures.
12. Realization of steel structures.
13. Processing and assembly of steel structures.

The objective of the subject is to introduce students to the problems of this course and to practise acquires knowledge and skills.
