Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of didactic principles and in education of special subjects. Theoretical view to realization of education process in special engineering subjects at secondary schools.

Prerequisites

General orienatition in pedagogics and didctics for enginneers, ability of communication in education reality and in public places, managing of fever, recognising of some teaching methods from teachers, description of main didactic principles, knowledge of basic organization forms of teaching, ability to prepare for public performance, ability to create of elementar research in education reality and their working, trying to meet with education reality.

Course curriculum

1. Introduction to pedagogics for enginners and its relation to special didactics.
2. General and special didactics, didactics of special subjects.
3. Teaching process and its regularity. Didactic principles and rules.
4. Selection of subject-matter and its structurality. Modern curriculum and its realization in teacher´s praxis.
5. Types and structure of teaching unit. Phases of teaching. Types of teaching.
6. Teaching methods - summary and clasification. Active teaching methods.
7. Didatictic aids. Organization forms of teaching.
8. Teacher´s prepare for his education. Direction in system of education.
9. Pedagogical diagnostics, pedagogical evaluation and creating of didatical tests.
10. Literature with didactic function. Education texts, their analysis, creation and rating, optimalization.
11. A educator´s personality and theory of teacher´s job. Professiogram of teacher of special subjects.
12. Antropogenal members of education. Classical and alternative system of teaching.
13. Specifics and pecularities of teaching process in special subjects.

Aims

Orientation in theoretical pedagogical and didactical terminology, processes and paradigmates used for technicians who want to resort of education. This course meets with foundation of scholar job. It is suitable for students who think about teacher´s job in future or who want to teach in special school externally.
