Main principles of the construction preparation and realization in the link to the Building Code and regulations for the construction realization in force. Obligations of the parties in the constructions, zoning and building permit procedure. Plots of land and lay out of constructions. Principal methods for the site facility plan and time scheduling of constructions, source analyses of the project. Modern technology in construction with the stress on the fire safety, environmental hygiene and occupational safety. In the course of lecture period excursion related with the lecture program.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

By mastering the objectives of the Selected articles from the realization of constructions course the students will understand the construction process in its full complexity. The course will teach them to understand the pre-production, erection and user processes from the point of view of all common parties in the construction procedure. An integral part of the course objectives is to acquire knowledge in the area of legislation, time planning and site plants.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of technology procedures of building works, basic knowledge of the environmental hygiene and fire safety of constructions.

Course curriculum

1.Parties in the construction – basic obligations of the parties in the construction. Construction supervision. State building supervision.
2.Basic regulations for the realization of constructions. Engineer and technician in the construction procedure. Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians. Public contracts.
3.Building Code. Zoning procedure. Building permit procedure. Building approval procedure. Samples of proposals, applications and decisions.
4.Plots for construction. Administration of the Land Registry. Laying out of constructions.
5.Protection of buildings against radon.
6.Basic concept of the site plant plan.
7.Site transportation – vertical and horizontal. Plan of the site buildings.
8.EXCURSION
9.Methods of synchronous, subsequent and continuous construction, source analyses, time planning of constructions.
10.Models of time planning – basic principles for preparation of line graphs, time-space and network graphs.
11.Inspection of the building work quality, technology regulations, buildier´s log.
12.Constructions and their fire safety, environmental hygiene, energy savings.
13.Modern technology in construction. Assembled houses. Timber houses. Underground houses.

Aims

Making the student acquainted with technology processes, utilization of elaborated technology procedures at performing regular inspection of individual constructions during construction process. On a selected construction regular video records are taken for individual technology procedures and photo documentation is made on the course of construction. At the end the students prepare a CD with comments based on the obtained documentation on the construction course.
