Atelier III - Environment - winter

Under the guidance of their teacher, students learn to interconnect acquired experience and knowledge. They co-operate with their teacher on the specification of their assignments and examine the possibilities of their solutions. They include the knowledge gained in theoretic subjects in their studio work.

5th semester - Natural resources and materials
a) material (substance) and state - stone, water, ice, gas etc.
b) systems of thought - philosophy, religion, science etc.
c) function of art - aesthetic, ethical, didactic, therapeutic, ideological etc.
d) material culture of human civilisation from the pre-history to the present days
e) extension of human being - communication media, social structures, transport of systems, etc.
f) public space and work of art

Aims

Bachelor and master students should gain experiences, knowledge and skills necessary for building their own artisitc positions in the academic environment and mainly for their future artistic practice.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
