Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will learn about the chronological developments of visual art in the second half of the 20th century, taking into account developments in other art disciplined.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of art history of the 20th century.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

50% attendance at lectures. Conclusion: test above 70% and examination.

11. Czech informel, Czech Grotesque, czech kinetism, visual and concretist poetrz, lettrism: 1960
12. Performance and Happening. Fluxus. Knížák.
13. Photography and design 1945 - 68
14. Spring 68, unofficial Czech alternative culture, documentary photography.

The aim of the course is to teach students about Czech and international art of the second half of the 2oth century with regard to wider social context.
