Publishing fee discounts for individual publishers
BUT is a member of the consortia within the National Centre for Electronic Information Resources CzechELib (CZEL). The licence agreements with some publishers include so-called tokens (publication bonuses) and discounts for publishing in Open Access mode. These are various forms of these bonuses. In order to use the bonuses with all publishers, it is very important that the author indicates his/her affiliation with BUT during the review process and communication with the publisher, or uses an e-mail with the domain @vut.cz or @vutbr.cz. Subsequently, the publisher will offer the possibility of publishing in Open Access mode using discounts and waiver of publication fees thanks to transformation agreements.
