ACTIVITIES 2024

In 2024, all activities and objectives will be related to Social Safety, the BUT Gender Equality Plan 2022-2024 (so called GEP), HRS4R - HR Award.
The HRD department is involved in EULIST and CASEAR in the areas under their purview.

July - December 2024
- Preparation of e-courses on Social Safety (pilot launch planned for December 2024).
- Preparation of a "Cookbook" on the Social Safety System at the BUT for contact persons and collaborators
- Preparation of a "Guide" to ensuring and promoting social safety at the BUT for academic and non-academic communities
- Finalisation of the Code of Gender Sensitive Communication (in Czech and English versions) - ready by 31 October 2024
- In September and October, further internal and educational meetings of the Social Security Contact Persons and Collaborators at the BUT with the Coordinators are taking place.
- NCC events in September 2024 8th National Conference on Gender and Science: 'Social Security: From Action to Action" | NKC - Gender and Science (genderaveda.cz) (only CZ)
- Coordinators regularly participate in online and face-to-face meetings of ombudspersons and similarly situated persons in the Czech Republic

January - June 2024
- Created Glossary of university terms CZ/EN, to support consistency of translated information. Also as a support not only for the university staff.
- Innovation of the website to promote social safety at the BUT - WEB - SOCIAL SAFETY AT THE BUT.
- Creation of the symbol for social safety at the BUT UMBRELLA.
- Creation and gradual application of STICKERS with QR code in Czech and English across F/U to support the social safety system at BUT.
- In April and May 2024, webinars and workshop for Social Safety Contact Persons and Collaborators at the BUT were held.
- In May, to provide more support to the Social Safety System, Mgr. Martina Martínková, Ph.D. has joined. She together with Bohdana Šlégrová became the Social Safety Coordinator.
- In February BUT became a full member of ENOHE and in May Dr. Martínková and Ing. Kraina attended the Conference in Portugal.
- In January, the Colloquium of Ombudspersons and persons in similar positions in the Czech Republic (only CZ), was held at the premises of the Public Defender of Rights.
