Professor Claude Cohen-Tannoudji, laureate of Nobel Prize for Physics (1997), visited Brno University of Technology, the biggest technical university in the Czech Republic. He met with students and academic staff to inspire them in their studies and scientific work. His visit was organized by company Honeywell within program Honeywell Initiative for Science & Engineering (HISE).
Claude Cohen-Tannoudji is a professor of molecular physics at Collège de France in Paris. In 1997 he was awarded with Nobel Prize together with colleagues William Phillips and Steven Chu for research in methods of laser cooling and trapping atoms.

Prof. Cohen-Tannoudji belongs to 25 Nobel Prize laureates whose lectures are organized by Honeywell since 2006. He is the fourth laureate to visit BUT and third within HISE program.
