BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award: the best ideas advanced to finals
BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award: the best ideas advanced to finals
17 projects out of 30 originally submitted qualified for the second round of the 5th BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award in October. Students and student teams had to convince the jury of representatives of Brno University of Technology and the innovation agency JIC not only of their knowledge of the market and customer needs, but also demonstrate the innovative approach and entrepreneurial potential of their project. A key part of the evaluation was the students' ability to clearly present their idea, define key roles in the team and outline the next steps to develop the project. Seven projects made it through to the spring finals.

"At BUT we perceive the growing interest in entrepreneurship as one of the key competences of the 21st century. Entrepreneurship is not only becoming part of university education, but we are also looking for other ways to increase the interest of BUT students in this area, for example through student competitions such as the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award. It has gained a very good reputation over the five years of its existence, as evidenced by the many examples of good practice that have been created thanks to the competition," said Vít Chlebovský from the Faculty of Business and Management BUT, who acts as a mentor and member of the evaluation committee.
The final of the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award will take place in spring 2025.
We would like to thank all project representatives for their participation in the competition and congratulate the selected projects!
