Delegation from Embassy of Japan visited Brno University of Technology

Ambassador from the Embassy of Japan in the Czech Republic Kaoru SHIMAZAKI and Second Secretary  of the Economic Section of the Embassy of  Japan Ms. Sachiko HOSHINO and Ms. Yukiko MARUYAMA visited Brno University of Technology on 22nd August 2019. Brno University of Technology was represented by Vice-rector for Study Affairs prof. Miroslav Doupovec and Vice-rector for Information Technology prof. Tomáš Hruška.

The main topic of the visit was possibility for deeper cooperation between Brno University of Technology and Japanese companies and institutions. Materials regarding previous, current and planned cooperation between Japan and Brno University of Technology were provided to the Ambassador of Japan. Embassy of Japan will provide the list of Japanese companies who have their seat in the Czech Republic.

Ambassador of Japan also visited tribology laboratories at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The laboratories were introduced by Vice-dean for Scientific and Research Activities prof. Ivan Křupka and Dr. David Nečas. Ambassador of Japan was excited visiting tribology laboratories and confirmed, that Embassy of Japan will support deeper connection between Japanese companies and Brno University of Technology.
