The programme also includes a discussion with the winners of the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award | Autor: Jan ProkopiusHow to turn ideas and innovations that the university generates into successful businesses? How does it work at Brno University of Technology? This is what we will focus on from different angles during the Summer School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2023, which will take place with international participation on 6-10 November at the Inprofo Lab of the Faculty of Business and Management of the Brno University of Technology.
Although in the autumn term, the format of the summer school will present a diverse mix of topics - from the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem of contriBUTe through sharing experiences with establishing spin-off or start-up companies on the university campus to the topic of knowledge transfer and workshops focused on the development of business ideas. The 24-hour challenge in search of a solution to a specific business problem will bring back long summer nights.
A special highlight of the programme will be workshops and lectures prepared by representatives of Tampere University of Applied Sciences, who will share their experience of the Finnish approach to entrepreneurship development.

Do I have the courage to be the best? That's the question you'll probably ask yourself after meeting representatives from Tampere University of Applied Scinces. They will introduce you to the Finnish approach to business development and education through interactive workshops and a project fair.
Thursday, 9. 11., 24 hour challenge (Hackathon)
Sign up with your team and experience what it is like to solve a specific task within a limited time. Your results may turn out to be surprisingly limitless. You will have the opportunity to consult not only with experts from the BUT, but also with their Finnish partners. The event is limited to 40 participants.
