The Ambassador of the Republic of India visited BUT

On Friday, August 10, 2018, Narinder Chauhan, the Ambassador of the Republic of India, visited the BUT Rector’s office. In the absence of the Rector, she was received by Jiri Hirš, the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs. After a brief introduction of Brno University of Technology and its cooperation with India, the discussion concentrated on possible increase of the number of Indian students at BUT and cooperation with Indian universities and industrial partners in the field of research and development, including the application of new technologies. The Ambassador confirmed India's interest to develop cooperation in these areas and offered her assistance in establishing contacts with Indian partners.
