Competence

The Department ensures in particular:

• planning the investment development of infrastructure,
• providing central services in the field of infrastructure development and maintenance,
• managing investment actions of programme financing,
• management of investment actions of other subsidy programmes, whereby the management, planning and implementation of investment actions, major repairs and purchases includes in particular:
  • collecting and evaluating requirements,
  • preparing documents for the selection of contractors,
  • managing, coordinating and controlling design preparation,
  • management, coordination and control of implementation,
  • planning and budget management,
  • economic management,
  • administrative and documentation management,
  • management, coordination, handover and acceptance of the completed project,
  • taking possession of the action and, for non-investment actions, the production of receipts,
• technical assistance to BUT components,
• registration and publication of contracts falling within the remit of the Department,
• managing the archive of technical documentation for investment and non-investment actions carried out by the department,
• preparing and ensuring inventories of assets in progress,
• coordinating and ensuring the issuance of BUT opinions on investment projects of other investors.
