As part of the recent Innovation and Entrepreneurial Festival organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem of VUT contriBUTe, a competition of short, so-called pitch presentations of students in Ph.D. programs was held. The competition task was to briefly present the focus of their research and its expected outputs with an emphasis on their practical application and commercialization possibilities. All competitors managed this difficult task well. Vojtěch Dobiáš from the Faculty of Chemistry convinced the jury composed of BUT academics and JIC representatives the best, while the other prize-winning positions were taken by Tatiana Pisarenko from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies and Nikola Sobotková from the Faculty of Business and Management. Congratulations!
Vojtěch Dobiáš, when getting the diploma from the hands of the Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer Martin Weiter, said "I know similar presentations from abroad, it's really not easy to get everything essential into two minutes. I am glad I managed to do it, it is a great training".
