Předkládaný projekt navazuje na úspěšně ukončený projekt GAČR 202/98/P258 a je zaměřen na studium kinetických procesů probíhajících v dohasínajícím plazmatu. Jako nosný plyn bude použit čistý dusík a jeho směsi s argonem a kyslíkem, do nichž budou přidávány stopové příměsi různých organických i anorganických látek. Vstup příměsi bude realizován jak přímým mísenín, tak i pomocí laserové ablace a pomocného výboje. Zdrojem plazmatu budou DC, RF, mikrovlnné a koronové výboje a některé jejich kombinace při tlacích od 1 kPa po atmosférický tlak. Dohasínající plazma bude studováno optickou emisní spektroskopií a in-situ EPR spektroskopií. Současně budou z výbojové trubice odebírány metodou liquid nitrogen trap vzorky plynu pro analýzu stabilních produktů výboje pomocí plynové chromatografie a UV-VIS spektroskopie. Pro identifikaci méně obvyklých molekulárních spekter a výpočet teplot v plazmatu bude využito numerická simulace spekter dvouatomových molekul. Na základě změřených spekter budou identifikovány reakce přenosu excitační energie mezi různými stavy částic přítomných v dohasínajícím plazmatu a bude rovněž možné určit reakční konstanty těchto reakcí. Výsledky projektu by měly vést k podstatnému prohloubení znalostí kinetických procesů v dohasínajícím dusíkovém plazmatu a vytvořit tak základ pro použití jako analytické metody. Tato nová metoda by měla najít uplatnění v praxi (potravinářský průmysl, monitorování kvality životního prostředí, atd.).
Description in EnglishThe proposed project follows the successfully finished project GACR 202/98/P258 and it is focused on the study of kinetic processes taking place during the post-discharge. Pure nitrogenand its mixtures with argon and oxygen will be used as buffer gases, the traces of various organic and inorganic species will be added using various techniques including direct gas mixing, laser ablation technique and the auxiliary discharge, too. DC, RF, microwave and corona discharges and some of their combinations will be used as plasma sources at pressures between 1 kPa and atmosphere. The discharges and postdischarges will be observed by optical emission spectroscopy and in-situ ESR spectroscopy. Samples of the gas from the discharge tube will be taken using the liquid nitrogen trap technique and the stable products will be analysed by GC and UV-VIS spectroscopy. The numeric simulation of diatomic molecular spectra will be used for estimation of plasma parameters and for identification of uncommon diatomic molecules and radicals in the spectra. The excitation energy transfer reactions among various states will be identified from the spectra and the reaction constants of these reactions will be calculated. Results of the project will represent a significant increase in the nitrogen post-discharge kinetics knowledge and they provide a basis for further application as analytical technique. This new method could be applied in the practice (food industry, environmental quality monitoring).
