Cílem navrhovaného projektu je experimentální studium mazacích filmů za podmínek smíšeného mazání, tj. na rozhraní mezi elastohydrodynamickým a mezným mazáním prostřednictvím kolorimetrické interferometrie.
Description in English
The proposed project is aimed at the experimental study of lubricant films taking place in the region between elastohydrodynamic and boundary lubrication. Thin film colorimetric interferometry measurement technique will be used for the study of the formation of viscous (immobile) boundary films on rubbing surfaces, the behaviour of additive films on rubbing surfaces, the mixed lubrication of the real rough surfaces. Obtained results will enable predicting the behaviour of real tribological systems, such as rolling bearings or gears, under conditions when the lubricant film thickness is comparable or below the composite surface roughness. Project takes an advantage of the previous results obtained by the aplicant within proposed field and it presents futher extension in the field of mixed lubrication.
