Teoretická analýza a numerické modelování fotonických struktur s pomalými vlnami. Výzkum jejich nových funkčních vlastností z hlediska využití v plně optických prvcích pro zpracování signálu.

Description in English
Theoretical analysis and numerical modelling of photonic slow-wave structures is projected. Efficient and accurate numerical methods will be applied to study, compare, and optimize various types and geometries of these structures. In particular, the project addresses to new functionalities, such as signal modulation, switching, and memory functions, which are of fundamental importance for technical applications.
