Projekt je zaměřen na teoretickou a experimentální analýzu skutečného působení a únosnosti progresivních konstrukčních prvků z oceli, konstrukčního skla a betonu s důrazem na řešení problémů ztráty stability. Podstatou je zabezpečení spolehlivého a současně ekonomického konstrukčního návrhu s ohledem na specifické vlastnosti jednotlivých materiálů konstrukčních prvků. Metody analýzy jsou založeny na experimentálních i teoretických přístupech a zejména jejich efektivní kombinaci a vzájemné interakci.
