On the project

Aim of the project is to verify the method of strengthening of circular concrete columns by FRP subjected to dynamic loading. This method has different effect depending on whether the strengthening measure is carried out on a structure in a seismic zone or on conventional structures. In general, the objective of strengthening is to increase the load bearing capacity of column where static loading is dominant(conventional structures)and ductility of columns where dynamic loading is dominant(seismic zone). Current knowledge and approaches related to this method are not appropriate and accurately
