Description in EnglishA project sponsored by GACR, reg- no- 106/93/0566. having been solved by the proposer's and coproposer's departments will be finished by the end of1995- It has been determined to create the structure of an expert database system capable to unify the evidence of an extensive set of the nodular cast iron characteristics, and will be ended off with the model filling of the database and with verifying its function by means of the IHM PC - 1:'or the period of 1996-98 we propose to deal with a nev project with re-; speet to common and special types of nodular cast iron (austempered, tem-pered, low temperature. high temperature), the task of which will be to fill completely the named expert database system with the metallurgical, structural. mechanical as well as technological characteristics and with their dependences, found by the means of stochastic mathematical methods and fuzzy models. The readiness in choosing them will thus be improved, making them more available to engineering practice-
