On the project
The magnetic vortices are studied for their applicability in data storage for which arises the need to read and write the four possible vortex states with great precision at high speeds. This project follows our ongoing research by implementing the dynamic readout of vortex parameters (using RF electronics) and correlating it with time-resolved optical detection with sub-ns resolution. This will be used in analysis of samples prepared by multistep e-beam lithography consisting of Permalloy (NiFe) disks with excitation waveguide.
