Obsahem je modelování deformace a porušení vybraných materiálů na bázi víceúrovňového integrovaného přístupu typu „bottom-up“, který vychází z nanoskopické nebo subnanoskopické úrovně. Budou modelovány klasické materiály s bcc, fcc i hcp strukturou, materiály vytvářené laserovým spékáním i materiály s tvarovou pamětí. Tyto modely poskytují hlubší fyzikální interpretaci procesů poškozování pevných látek a zefektivňují vývoj nových materiálů s vyšší odolností vůči namáhání.
