Vývojová dysgrafie (DD), vyskytující se u 10–30% dětí školního věku, je porucha nebo obtížnost produkce psaného jazyka, která souvisí s mechanikou psaní. Diagnóza a/nebo hodnocení DD vyžaduje komplexní vyšetření zahrnující analýzu grafomotorických dovedností a kognitivních schopností. Doposud se tyto analýzy provádí především subjektivně. V rámci tohoto multidisciplinárního projektu navrhneme objektivní počítačovou metodu analýzy paměťových a vizuoprostorových schopností, budeme zkoumat pokročilé metody digitální parametrizace grafomotorických dovedností, a navrhneme novou komplexní škálu hodnocení DD (DD-RS), založenou na kvantitativní analýze písma/kresby. Nakonec využijeme matematického modelování a navrhneme systém, který bude hodnotit DD na základě nové škály automaticky.

Developmental dysgraphia (DD), being observed among 10–30% of school-aged children, is a disturbance or difficulty in the production of written language that has to do with the mechanics of writing. Diagnosis and/or rating of DD requires a complex examination including graphomotorical skills and cognitive abilities analysis. Until now, these analyses have been performed mainly subjectively. In the frame of this multidisciplinary project, we are going to propose an objective computerized methodology of memory and visuospatial ability analysis, we are going to research advanced digital graphomotorical skills parameterization, and to propose a new complex DD rating scale (DD-RS) based on the quantitative handwriting/drawing analysis. Finally, we are going to employ the mathematical modelling methods in order to design a system that will rate DD based on the newly proposed scale automatically. Results will be continuously published in journals with impact factor (4 articles), in Czech peer-reviewed journals (4 articles), in conference proceedings (6 papers), and finally in a monograph.
