On the project

Předložený projekt je zaměřen na rozvoj experimentálního vývoje a inovací skupiny Pokročilých keramických materiálů CEITEC VUT v Brně ve spolupráci s partnery Centra excelence FunGLASS. Vědecké cíle projektu, stanovené společně s partnery, jsou zaměřeny na dvě oblasti, kde lze využít synergii znalostí v oblasti skla a keramiky, a vhodným způsobem tak rozšít strategické vědecké oblasti Centra FunGLASS. Prvním tématem je vývoj nových transparentních polykrystalických keramických materiálů dopovaných luminofory s vysokou luminiscenční emisivitou v oblasti viditelného a blízkého infračerveného spektra. Druhým tématem je vývoj nových keramických a sklokeramických kompozitních materiálů pro strukturní a biomedicinské aplikace. Třetím cílem projektu je využití lidského vědeckého potenciálu, vzájemné využití infrastruktury a posílení účasti mladých vědeckých pracovníků v excelentních mezinárodních týmech.

Description in English
The main goal of the project is the strengthening of the cooperation between CEITEC BUT and Centre of the excellence FunGLASS in the field of development of new transparent polycrystalline ceramic materials with luminescent properties, as well as development of new ceramic and glass/ceramic composite materials for structural and biomedical applications.
