On the project

Description in English
The grant is engaged in project of fluid nozzle. This one is based on the instability of shearing layer in the fluid, flowing through the chamber with special shape for supporting of non-stationary velocity vortex. The nozzle is work on the principle offluid oscillator, utilise the vortex motion of fluid, which one is due to non-stationary velocity and pressure field and the pulsation of outlet jet. We will apply the above-mentioned principle in the brunch of ecology, especially for mixing and aerationof activated sludge in the technology of wastewater treatment. This system offers other application, too, for example: continual mixing and dosing chemicals to the wastewater or wetting of biological filter. The aim of this grant will be to construct thefluid nozzle in proportion able to take advantage for mixing and aeration of activated sludge and for the application in technology of wastewater treatment.
