On the project
Výzkum a vývoj pokročilých technologií pro systém tunable white
Description in EnglishThe aim of the project is design and creation of a new product line of lights with automatized regulation of chromaticity and brightness, which will efficiently simulate natural light and thus positively impact human biorhythm. This will be achieved primarily thanks to the development of a new lamp manufactured by the method of vacuum casting using advanced diffuse polymers, which enables efficient directed light scattering (and therefore lowers energy supply requirements and enhances users’ light comfort). The new lighting technology will offer a broader spectrum of light temperature and intensity setup options. It will be possible to adjust these properties via a mobile application, that will be connected with the individual lamps through the 5G network (instead of the conventional solution via WiFi or Bluethooth low energy modules). The lamps’ connectivity will be further extended by the possibility of integration to the KNX environment, which is the current standard for IoT communication within Smart Home ecosystems. The technology will be applied to newly developed product line of lamps designed for households, industrial operations and within the network of public lighting. Furthermore, a smart LED lightbulb for universal use will be developed. The last developed prototype will be a large-area lamp, that will enable efficient light scattering across the whole room. For these purposes, two more chromaticity channels will be added (circa 2000K and 6700K), which will allow for a greater light “temperature” span. The main result of the project are 4 products – prototypes (G) of lighting technology, which will be introduced on the market as 4 product lines by the coordinator: 1) Lamps manufactured by the method of vacuum casting 2) Smart LED lightbulbs 3) Large-area lights 4) Lamps for use in industrial operations and public lighting
