On the project
We will focus on utilization of artificial intelligence methods in the area of transport systems, particularly in simulation systems, automatic navigation, and related assistive tools. Simulation systems will be oriented both towards the car performance and the driver performance. The prospective applications to the aforementioned technologies are seen in wide area of automotive applications, planning and navigation methods research and development for future unmanned cars, autonomous logistic systems/robots, automated warehouses as well as in service and collaborative robotics and related cases. Professional expertise of the participating organizations covers all related topics and the justifiability of the chosen research targets is ensured by their connections to industrial partners like for example Skoda-Auto. The output of this task will be in the form of the integrated system software stack implementing the developed concepts for simulating systems.
