On the project

The main goal of the project is to optimize the process of laser ablation and related sampling of material of soft tissues. The issue of laser-matter interaction is of great importance in the material analysis using laser-ablation-based techniques, such as LIBS. The laser ablation is driven namely by the proper selection of laser wavelength and irradiance (radiant power over irradiated area). During the project I will make a complex experimental work with the aim at the optimization and feasibility measurement of selected analyte (for instance zinc) in the sections of soft tissues.
